PRIORITY REGISTRATION FOR 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS MAY 1


Online student priority registration will begin on Monday, May 1, 2023. All students, current and new, who will attend a VISD school in the 2023-24 school year must register using the online system, including those entering the Early Childhood Center and Pre-K.

SCHOOL MATTERS: VISD SUCCESS ACADEMY, MORE THAN CREDIT RECOVERY


The VISD Success Academy (VSA), formally Liberty Academy, is an alternative school designed to accommodate the educational, behavioral, and/or medical needs of children and adolescents that cannot be adequately addressed in a traditional school environment. The most common programs alternative schools house are Credit Recovery and a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP).

Victoria ISD's Leadership Definition, Leading Toward Genius, is separated into three categories: Connecting, Growing, and Reaching. This month our focus is on celebrating Reaching for Genius. Reaching for Genius is comprised of four indicators; the first is Creates Pathways for All.


Each campus selected one employee that embodies the "Creates Pathways for All" indicator under Reaching.
